[QUOTE]I'm an RN for 2 years now. I obviously studied nursing In college! I'd love to go back and get my MSN someday, since what drew me to the career was learning. I love the knowledge base I have, but patient care gets crazy sometimes.

Britney I've always been curious about what kind of nursing you do, being in nursing school myself... and it's obvious you are an RN, I've just bever asked. Now seems like a good time since we're on the subject, lol.
  • I'm an accountant for a private equity firm.  I'm a licensed CPA (certified public accountant) but I don't currently practice public accounting.  I used to work for one of the BIg 4 public accounting firms but quit that a little over a year ago when I realized how much I HATED it.  I still don't particularly enjoy what I do and wish just about everyday that I had pursued a different career path.... :|

I got a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and International Business (specializing in Spanish) as well as a BA in Spanish.

  • I work in the patient experience department of one of the largest public health systems in the country.  Until this past October, I was the Special Events Manager for the non-profit attached to the system.  I love my job - it's rewarding and keeps me very busy!

It's fun to see so many nurses on here!  I work with nurses on performance improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction.

I majored in English, and I'm always surprised at what knowing how to write well can lead you to do for a living.

    Great question Cathy!
  • Currently I do internal benefits for a bank employees. Starting next monday I'll be doing customer service in a call center for another bank, doing wire transfers. Right now it's work. However this last job I did doing internal benefits really made me enjoy HR Management and this fall will start to get my degree in it.

Back in the day, right out of highschool, I did complete 2 years of general studies in college, but not enough credits to get my associates.
