I've read mixed advice. Some people say to wait until about 4-6 months before the wedding, others say the sooner the better to allow the possibility for gifts for engagement/showers and even for birthdays/holidays.
I'm eager to register not for the gifts (although if we receive any they are definitely appreciated) but because it's something that my FI will actually get involved with and will be fun to do together (especially if we get to use the guns). He doesn't care much about the wedding/reception. All he cares about is the "I Do" part. That and the honeymoon haha. I'm thinking about waiting until October to set it up.
So, when do you plan on registering or have you already?
