engagement photos in the am or pm?

My fiance and I are hoping to do engagement photos this weekend (provided the weather cooperates) and I don't know if it's better to do them in the morning or afternoon? Does anyone have thoughts on this?

    I think both options are equal, lighting wise, because the sun is so weak right now. Where are you planning to shoot? I would choose whatever time of day you feel best and that will be the least crowded for your shooting location.

    We did our engagement photos in the morning and the photos came out great..I don't know much about lighting though lol! Ask your photographer :)

    Definitely in the afternoon.  Lighting is even and warm.
