So I purchased my dress from David's Bridal. It cam it the last week of July, I made an appointment to get a bustle added, they quoted me at $180 because my "material was expensive".
Well I ended up finding contact info for Dora Baker here on the knot and I just really wanted to share because this woman is great at what she does, and she won't charge an arm and a leg.
I ended getting a corset built inside the dress, she let out my zipper and raised my dress because it was fitting me pretty low in the bust area, took it in at the hips and added a bustle....All for less than what DB quoted me for a bustle. DB also told me it would take 4-6 weeks, Mrs. baker got it back to me within a week and a half.
