FI and I are talking about camping this fall. Does anyone have any recommendations for a campground that would be scenic for the fall and also have some activities that we could do (boat rentals, hiking, swimming...) ?  It doesn't have to be in PA, we are willing to drive up to 6 hours. TIA

French Creek is where I always went growing up. We are hoping to try a place that neither of us have been to before.

We are planning on tent camping, but aren't opposed to cabins if we find an area that we love and they only offer cabin camping.

World's End State Park in Eaglesmere, PA is very scenic and very nice.  They have cabins and tent camping.

Fishing, Antique Shops, Raft and Canoe Trips, Brunswick Railroad Museum and
Horseback Riding all within ten minutes.  It might be a bit of a drive but well worth it!
