Soundfront rental home assistance

Hello!
Can anyone recommend a rental home on the sound - preferably 7+ bedrooms, in the Kitty Hawk/Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills/Duck areas? It's been quite a challenge finding anything larger than 6 bedrooms.

We want to rent it for the week and have our wedding party/parents stay with us during that time. The idea is that we'll hold the ceremony on the sound and the reception at the house. 50-60 guests.

OMG!  Just noticed you are getting married on my birthday.  It's a pretty awesome day in my opinion, lol.

It may be trickier to find a Soundfront home in KDH or Nags Head b/c most of the locals live on the sound and the homes aren't as large.  Would you be willing to consider Duck or Corolla?  There are a lot more home options in those towns.

I haven't come across the first one yet -  so thank you for sending!

Since most of our guests are flying in, we wanted them to stay in a central location - close to activities, restaurants, shopping etc... Unfortunately, Corolla is a little *too* remote (although I personally love that area). Duck is acceptable though.

If you are willing to look at Duck, try Twiddy Realty www.twiddy.com and Carolina Designs www.carolinadesigns.com as they both serve the Duck area.

At the top of this board, there is a "sticky" with info on the  OBX Wedding Assoc. and under it, they have links for "Accommodations" and list all of the rental agencies throughout Nags Head.  You can simplify your search by entering # of bedrooms and location "Soundside"  They also have other filters for pets, price, etc.

  We are renting a soundfront home the week of the our wedding and having the reception there.  It is in Duck called The West Ridge, it is on VBRO website

We were married at the Grande Ritz Palm in Duck.  It is on the Sound side.  The home can hold up towards 125 guests.  We had 65.  The home is breathtaking!  I would recommend it to every bride!

The Grande Ritz Palm is GORGEOUS! I wish we could have used it.  But my parents have to be oceanfront.  Its easier anyway for us to be oceanfront because I have two small children.
