repost - Golf Carts

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone rented a street legal golf cart for their wedding?  Seems like it might be a good way to get guests to our ceremony at our rental home... folks are staying in various places a few blocks away or parking a short walk away.

    Not sure if you saw my response or not, but in all my years of going down there, I have never seen anyone cruising around in golf carts or a place that rents them.  Probably too much of a liability with traffic on the main road and Beach Rd.

    I would look into OBX Trolley and there also a few shuttle buses that run weddings too.

    There is a place you can rent golf carts http://www.obxbeachbuggies.com/

    I have never actually seen them, either, but Nina at Pelican's Landing told us about them since guests have to park in the public lots and walk to the house itself.

    They use golf carts all over Corrolla .  I see it all the time.

    Thanks - I had never seen them either, but noticed a Corolla rental home offering free use of one, so wondered! We will be in Corolla, too, so may be worth checking out! I'll let you know! thanks, all!
