I was going to call work tonight and tell them I had really bad diarhea and wasn't sure if I could come in tomorrow (so I could go to my teaching interview). I started feeling sick from my nerves about lying to my current job about being sick so I could go to the interview tomorrow, so I told them the truth. I told my boss that my appointment was an interview and it had to be tomorrow. She told me she pretty much already knew that's what it was when I couldn't answer her question yesteday about what kind of appointment it was. So there it is: Honesty is always the best policy. I am going to my interview at 9:30am and then after it is over I will be going into work. I feel so much better now that I told the truth. Thanks everyone for letting me vent!
