I know I am not the first to ask, and I won't be the last but...how do I respond?
I sent save the dates to out of towners and directed them to a wedding website. On the website and in conversations, I've been fairly clear that the wedding ceremony and reception are adult only. One of my good friends from college just emailed me asking a few questions and added "my son is coming to the wedding - fyi." She just had the baby in July and while I understand leaving a newborn may be difficult, it's not an exception. I will see her at another event in just a few weeks in which she is not taking the baby so I know this is possible for her. I was just a little put off by her audactiy to "fyi" that she has no respect for my wedding plans. Or maybe I need to give the benefit of the doubt and assume she didn't see my many, many notes about adult only. What to do?
