make-up and hair consultation

When is the best time to have a make-up and hair consultation? My wedding is in April 2011 and I'm growing out my short pixie do so that the stylist will have something to work with.

    did you already book your stylist(s)? i did a consult before i booked to see if i liked them, but some people book first and then have a meeting with them a couple months before to go over your look. it really depends on if you feel they can achieve the look you want. if you're not sure, do a trial.
