I am looking for a photographer in the Bay area (San Jose/Santa Cruz/SF) to take Post-wedding photos, actually. My husband I were married and spent top dollar on photography, only to learn that many of the standard shots were not taken. We'll never get photos of our guests, the decor, my mom and dad enjoying themselves, etc., but we can get a headshot of us.
I am looking for a TOP photographer who uses a lot of the landscape and has beautiful composition in his or her photos. I'm only looking for a few traditional close ups, but I love photographers who have a command of the lighting and the surroundings... I've found Marcel and Meher and they are wonderful, but very very expensive (about 1000). I want the rights to the shots. Does anyone have a suggestion for photographers who take advantage of beautiful imagery and lighting? Ideally, I'd want someone around $600-700, with rights to photos. Having already paid for my photos, it would be difficult to justify much more.
