Rehearsal Dinner Space??

Hi Ladies,
I am up in the Portland, OR area helping a friend plan a spring rehearsal dinner.  She is looking for a space that is very "San Francisco" and somewhat near the Embarcadero or Fisherman's Warf.  She is flexible but wants it in a cool area or with a pretty view.  I would love any suggestions---thanks in advance!

what type of dinner?  fancy?  casual? how many people?

i'm thinking of having my RD at Gott's in the Ferry Building.  its pretty casual, but its VERY san francisco.

Depending on how many people will be attending, she might consider Bistro Boudin. It's smack dab in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf and the top floor is a more upscale kind of place. You can even rent out the Bakery Museum space, which has lovely views of the Bay and the bakery on the other side.

I still do a double take when people say Gott's. It'll always be Taylor's to me. Mm....I can't wait till they bring their Heirloom Tomato sandwich back this summer.....

Thanks so much--I will check these places out.  We aren't looking for anything too formal, but at the same time nothing too casual.
