I'll be getting married in the savannah area. I need a $1,000,000 liability coverage for the reception venue. I tried googling wedding insurance but didn't really find much. I found only one wedding insurance company. Then I read somewhere you could just put it under your insurance policy. Does this mean I could put it under my auto insurance or renters insurance policy?

    Hello, If you have an insurance agent, that agent can write you a policy to cover your wedding.  I do know that Traveler's insurance writes these policies and most independent agents who write policies through them can write these types of policies.  You cannot just put it under your auto or renters.It is not a bad idea, especially given hurricane season in the south.  It would also cover if you had to call off the wedding due to a death in the family, or any other unforeseen cicumstance.If you have any other questions about it, please let me know.
