Live ceremony music?

Our ceremony will be fairly small...i was thinking of having a guitarist play music for us instead of having a recording. Anyone have experience with trying to book something like this? How do I try and locate someone and how do I make sure it will be loud enough?

  • I have helped plan multiple weddings, and one of the most beautiful was a single saxaphone player and one vocalist. It was romantic and perfect. I thing a guitarist would do the same.

You should check our DOV SOUND, www.dovsound.com. They can find you any musician you need. I think they just added a profile to The Knot as well. Hope this helps.

  • I found someone (Chris Wooley) on gigmasters.com. He's super awesome, affordable, and brings his own gear. Others will quote you on gigmasters too in case you want a different style of music.
