Hi! We're getting married next September (2012) at a rugged outdoor venue near Santa Barbara... There's a lot to think about, since it's not a venue that typically hosts weddings and there's no one on-staff to assist with planning/day-off. My mom and I are really organized, but haven't planned a wedding before.
Advice on if a wedding planner is necessary? Also, recommendations for wedding planners in the Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo/Central California area?
