Holiday Honeymoon in Tahoe?

My fiance and I are looking to have our honeymoon in Tahoe this December. We've never been to Tahoe and could use some tips on locations. We're open to cabins, condos, etc as long as we have some privacy, a hot tub, kitchen(ette), not too far from restaurants, ski resorts, entertainment, etc. Any tips?

Most of the ski areas are on the north shore, so I would stay there if you want to ski/ride. Both Northstar at Tahoe and Squaw Valley have big villages with restaurants, shops, and activities and make a nice home base. Early December isn't really peak season up here so look for deals. TahoesBest.com is a good website to check out. There are plenty of vacation rentals here so I'm sure you'll be able to find what you want (craigslist is even worth looking at). I'm sure you'll have a great trip, there's a ton of fun stuff to do up here.
    Cheers,
    Nicole
PS If you want a romantic night out, the Soule Domain (in Crystal Bay, NV) is the place to go. It's in an adorable little log cabin and the food is amazing.

Incline village has so beautiful places to stay. I stayed the Hyatt (Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino) in a cabin right on the lake.  It was romantic and awesome.  Do it.
