Hi ladies,

I was wondering if you can reccomend anyone to perform a cultural dance and to play music at a reception.

I'm actually looking for a Filipino dance group and someone to play an instrument from a German background. I have already checked on one Filipino dance group and they are not available the day of my wedding. |I'm just waiting on another dance group but they might be also going on vacation.

As far as the German side, I can't find anyone as of right now. I talked to my parents in law and they havent really said anything about it. I don't want to keep bugging them so i thought I can just go ahead and look for someone.

I don't know of a Filipino dance group, but I've been to Oktoberfest a few times and the Schwaben dancers performed.   They do German dancing in German outfits, and I've even seen them do log-chopping with axes in time to the music.  Really quite entertaining.

Thanks so much I will look up the German website.

The Filipino group that you listed, I have already contacted them. One of them is not free so just waiting on the other one. Unfortunately these 2 groups are the only ones I can find in Toronto
