Our wedding is next Saturday (Yay!). Our Priest is a Franciscan Friar, who actually was the professor the class (Arabic) we met in at college, so he's been in our lives since the beginng of our relationship in 2008. We are paying for his flight, hotel and all meals while he is here, but we would like to get him something extra as a thank you. Franciscan's are a bit tricky though as they cannot claim anything as their own nor accept true gifts.
Any ideas or suggestions? We thought about a bottle of wine, but with him flying, that won't be an option.
Edit: Also wanted to note (if it helps) that he is currently in school for his PhD for Islamic Studies and the "chaplain in residence" at a University in Washington, DC.
