I am having a destination wedding and then throwing a reception in the small town I grew up in, I don't currently live there, for family and friends. We bought a package deal at a venue that included a cake vendor that did not click with my fiance and I. We have let her know, in a very nice way (the nicest you can when divorcing a vendor), that we will not be using her. Now when I call other vendors to confirm my appts they state they have too much business on that day (my reception is a Friday and an off day for weddings) and have cancelled my appt!! There are not a ton of vendors in the area (Tyler/Palestine/Jacksonville) and I need help with suggestions for new ones. Any ideas?
