Red Barn Experience in La Porte, IN

Has anyone heard of the Red Barn Experience in La Porte, IN? http://www.redbarnexperience.com/

I have emailed the place twice and have yet to hear anything from them.

Is it worth pursing or has anyone heard good/bad things about the place?

I am VERY MUCH wanting to have a barn ceremony/reception, but I am having trouble finding a place that is reasonably priced. Does anyone know of a good place in IL or western IN?

Any help on either question?

I had my wedding there and it was beautiful BUT the contact there is very difficult to track down and get a response from (even after signing contract and sending in deposit.) Had many instances where she claimed she never got my emails, which is why she didn't respond to me (which I don't believe, especially when I'm responding in an existing email thread.) There were also several things that weren't communicated to us and something that we originally asked for but did not get on day of. If you're patient and willing to chase her down, keep up with trying to get ahold of her. Otherwise, I would look for some place else - especially if you don't want to constantly follow up with your venue.
