Ladies, I highly recommend going to Lindsey Lane Bridal Cottage in Rantoul, about a half hour north. This place is GREAT! They have discontinued designer gowns that are about half (or less) of the retail price. All sorts of sizes and shades of white.
Also, important to my heart, the owners are fantastic! I had about a 2 to 2.5 hour appointment last night, they stayed late without even saying anything. They were interested in my life, and didn't complain about anything, including having to lace me into about 5 or 6 corset dresses. I cannot sing their praises enough. I was so happy with their collection and service, and I'm so glad that I'll be able to patronize their business.
I called back the next day to say to hold the gown, and she even remembered the ones I had liked from the night before...in order! I felt so special. This will really add to my memories of the whole experience.
