My fiance and I are not from Mt. Vernon, but we are trying to get married there. I am Baptist and he is Christian - non denominational. I would really like to have our wedding in an older church (not modern looking with lots of lights and big screens everywhere) and obviously I want the church to be pretty. We are hoping to find one that will allow his pastor to perform the ceremony. Does anyone know any beautiful churches in Mt. Vernon that would be open to an outside pastor?
