Hypothetical Question/Poll of sorts

Just curious on your opinions...

Say I'm a knottie and my parents own a flower business.

Is it OK for me to recommend them to other knotties and "rave" about their work on my wedding?


ETA: I don't disclose that said Flower company is owned by my parents.

I thin that when you do vendor reviews it is okay to mention that your parents did your flowers due to haveing a flower business but I don't think it is fair to completely rave about them.

Don't give them a grade but feel free to put their information

Hmm... that's a tough one.

I think it would be appropriate to let it be known that it's your parents. It's not like that's a bad thing (in fact, many Knotties may wish support more mom & pop shops when available). Given some of the discussion this past week, I think open & honest would be the best policy.

Um... I'd have to say, as long as said knottie used them for their wedding and when she 'raves' about them she is honest that it is her parents, that it is okay.

It would seem a bit underhanded if they did not mention it was their parent's work. I agree with PP honesty is the best policy.

I think so long as the said knottie makes it kown that it is her parent's business and that seh has actually used them it is ok.
