Wedding website

What sites would you suggest? I am looking for one that is very user friendly. What is the difference in a wedding website and the planning bio? Do I need both?? I am clueless here.

Thanks

I do not have a planning bio but the website I sent to my guests is:

    http://www.mywedding.com/drewandamandaswedding

It was very easy to set up. I think the planning bio has more like pictures of your dresses and the venue and just goes into more detail about your wedding. For example most people have a DIY section that talks about all DIY things they did. If you look through posts you will be able to get examples.

We're using www.mywedding.com for the wedding website we made for our guests. It is very easy to use and it's free!

    Here's ours: www.mywedding.com/peterandalyssa

A planning bio is just website you can make that includes ideas and pictures of your wedding plans, it's not usually the same website that you show your guests. You definitely don't need both but I made a planning bio because it was fun and it'll be an easy place for me to list wedding stuff I'm selling.

Here's my planning bio website, so you can see the difference: http://weddingplansbio.weebly.com/

    Hope this helps!

A planning bio is just the planning process of your wedding.  Lots of people use them to upload everything from dress pics to their DIY projects.

A wedding website is a website that tells your family and guests information about the wedding.  It can include hotels you recomend or have blocked and thigns to do in the area.  Time information.  I know on The Knot you can design your website to include a place your guests can RSVP.

Many websites offer templates for wedding websites including TheKnot, weddingwire.com, brides.com, and many others.  GL!

I didn't do a bio but I do have a website for my guests.  We used mywedding.com as well.  It allows you to be a little more creative and get in all the information you need.  Plus, I liked that it was free.

Here's mine for more ideas:  http://www.mywedding.com/geoffreyjamie

Didn't need to do the bio!
