New York

Dear...

Dear CousinIL's new GF,

While I appreciate the friend request on FB Im going to have to deny you. We've never met (which isnt always a deal breaker), but when I went to check out your profile the very first thing I see is your favorite quote "God is NOT ok with homosexuality". Congratulations darling, you have made your first family enemy.

I dont care that youre a bible nerd or that you practically grew up in church. So did I, and a Catholic one at that. Went to every service and church school event. Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, etc. God tells us to love EVERYONE and to judge NO ONE. You lose and I hate you. Im so looking forward to meeting you and telling you all about my area of study....LGBT Youth. B!tch.

Its a bold f'n move making that the first thing people see and in the real world, vs the home-schooled world you grew up in, youre going to be eaten alive. Best of Luck

OUCH!! But this seems therapeutic, let me try lol

    Dear GM's wife,

I have disliked you since the day I met you. I also know that you requested me as a friend on FB just to be nosy and that neither of us have any intention of ever trying to be friends with one another.

I'm pretty sure that your wall post the other day that stated, "Wedding #3 of 2011 tonight @ Justins! Added bonus that our friends and family have great taste in venues !" was a stab at me for my choice of venue. I can't wait to make your life miserable every time we are in the same room together. Laughing

Now I just can't wait to say this to her face!

Dear People Who Stop in my Visitor's Center:

This place is called The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce. We are not a travel agency. I have no clue what that place in Michigan is. I don't have brochures about California. I cannot recommend a hotel in Austin. If you need a phone number for a rental car company in Virginia, google it.

    Best of luck,

My entire office does that. Theres a few people we know #s to so when they call you hear "Son of a b!tch! I dont wanna deal with you right now! Hello, this is Bridgett...." Haha.

B/c its SU we also get a lot of Asian students who are literally off the boat and speak the worst English. Ive had to put them on hold and transfer them to someone with more patience than me. And then I get cursed at afterward for doing so. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-innocent.gif" border="0" alt="Innocent" title="Innocent" />

Ha! I jinxed myself. Well, this one wasn't too bad....
A guy just called here asking for the Chamber of Commerce in Seattle. Now, we have a huuuuge book that lists all of the chambers and embassies in the world. So I flip through to the Washington section, and in there is a sub-section for Seattle. I asked the guy what area and he is all uhhhh, so I'm like dude there are 14 freaking chambers in Seattle (ha not really like that, but ya know) so I just picked one and gave it to him. Hopefully it's good enough and he won't call back.

Yes!  This is me.  I frequently have to talk to people that can't speak English well.  And they always call multiple times during admission season.  When I see the numbers, I cringe.

    Dear Supervisor Lady,

Seriously?! Thank you so-o much for that amazing .17 cent raise. That extra 1.25/day, 6/week, 25/month, 300/YEAR is going to help me sooooo much! Now I can aaaaaalmost afford a set of books for 1 class! Good God. I pray that soon I can hand in my 2 week and I really hope you understand why. Im sick of working for chump change and being under-appreciated.

    Sincerely

    Dear BM dress shop,
Is it really that hard to return a phone call?  I mean 3 weeks should be plenty enough time to answer a somewhat simple question...right? I am very, very happy that I decided to go elsewhere to get my dress!  It's a good thing that I don't treat my patients the way you treat your customers or they would all be dead!

    Thanks,
Customer that has lost all of her patience with you people

    Dear Mom,
I am so appreciative that you're hosting my shower, but why have me register at another store when I've already registered at 2! We don't have that store here, so if I have to return, then I'm screwed.
    Love,
    your favorite daughter

    Dear FMIL,
Thank you for volunteering to host the rehearsal dinner.  Thank you for the seamstress recommendation. I'd love her name and number so I could call her. I hate having to ask you ALL the time! Please give it to me so I don't feel like I'm nagging you.

    Dear Patients,
You really need more patience! It takes time for refunds to process, if you call me EVERY day, I'm not going to be pleasant to deal with.
