What have you been up to?  Hopefully TK doesn't eat this post!

I'm at my one month mark, woohoo!!!  Called the DJ and emailed him a list of songs we like.  Ordered programs yesterday too.  Printed out paper copies of my timelines, lists, etc and organized them into a binder.  Today is our RSVP deadline, and we're still missing 17 envelopes.  Hopefully our mailbox is full when I get home from work!

I haven't posted in awhile, mainly due to absolute wedding craziness! Invitations went out last Saturday, and have had a good response so far. Had my hair trial (went great), first fitting, got the favors (150 bottles of olive oil that are amazing!), and now just in the process of all the details. Still have to do menus, table numbers, escort cards, programs, etc.

I can't believe we're 7 weeks out!!! Hope everyone else is well!

FI and I started a rough draft reception playlist (he actually initiated this, I'm so glad he's pumped about wedding planning). Otherwise that's it. Hopefully going dress shopping soon.

Congrats to you all getting married soon! I feel like my wedding is so far away when I come here and see you all in the final days of planning.

I cannot believe how much there is to do, and it really snuck up on us! I'm sure you're feeling the same thing. Quick question, how are you doing escort cards? Are you waiting until the week or so before to print them yourself, or did you order them? I'm actually using TGK again for all my other stuff (place cards, table numbers, etc.), and didn't know how the place card thing would work without having all the RSVP's back.

I'm ordering everything from TGK, because I love paper and want it to match.  I ordered the table cards about a month ago, love them!  I ordered programs yesterday.  I'll order the escort cards hopefully next week.  Not going to pay the custom $25 fee, so I'll hand write the guest's names and table numbers.

I'm meeting with the caterer tonight because my head count is due today.
I'm meeting with the florist tonight to get the final number
I sent the deposit to the cake baker

I have to tell you though; I feel like everything is going wrong now:
FBIL has been having a stressful time at work and outgrew his tux - now there's only 4 suits possible in his size.
Our cigar roller had a stroke and can't attend the wedding.
The hot air balloon company is going out of business so they can't accomodate an event our size.
One of our meal options requires an ingredient that had a bad crop so we're going to tweak it tonight.

I can't handle one more thing going wrong; I truly can't. And as I type this I'm on speaker with a client who is whining about his account not growing...

Enjoy the planning ladies! I thought about scrapping it all and going to the courthouse more than once, but now I'm sad it's over and I want to do it again! It was such an amazing time, the perfect day in every way. I should have some good stuff up for sale pretty soon too. In the meantime, I'll be working on the whole name change thing and wishing I was back in Mexico!
