Carnival Wedding Reception

Has anyone planned a carnival as their wedding reception? I think it would be so fun to have an actual carnival complete with mechanical rides like a Tilt-A-Whirl and Ferris Wheel. If you have planned a carnival event, where did you rent your rides from? What was your budget like? Do you think the experience was worth the cost/scale of the event? Lastly, where did you find the space to put your carnival reception?

    Not that this helps with your question, but I saw a spread in Bride's magazine a while back about a couple that did something similar to this.  Their venue was outside, near a pond, it looked beautiful.  One of the things that stuck out in my mind were that they had the bridemaids holding cones of cotton candy instead of bouquets, it was super cute!
