Our wedding/reception site advised us to use our local magistrate to perform the marriage at the site since it is part of their duties and we would not have to pay for them to come. Has anyone ever done this? I'm just wondering if it wouldn't be quite the same as hiring an "officiant". I live in the Wilkes-Barre area if anyone has used any of the magistrates around here I would love to hear how it went!
