Hello! And congrats on your wedding!!  I got married in Clarks Summit in October, and have a couple suggestions.  The Inn at Nichols has had a great reputation in the past years, but I've heard a couple not so great things from other brides who've gotten married there.  I was married at Glen Oak Country Club, which is in Clarks Summit, and they were awesome. http://glenoakcc.com/ They were also cheaper than Nichols =)  You may want take a tour of the place...the managers name is Jeff Spagna (tell him I told you!)

I used Frosted Bakery for my cake, and it was average at best. http://justfrosted.com/index2.php  The cake was a little sloppy, and dry.  I wouldn't recommend them.  Try Creative Cakes in Clarks Summit - heard they are great!

Frankie Carll was my DJ service, and we had Joe Thomas for our DJ. http://frankiecarll.com/ He was wonderful - and everything from start to finish dealing with them was wonderful. We originally booked thier band, Fancy Dancer, but we had a date change and they weren't available.  Highly recommend them!

Our limo service was provided by Feel Good Limo. http://feelgoodlimo.com/ The service was great, driver was great, and limo was great.  They are on the pricey side - but service was great!

Our photographer was Daniel Lanton of Darker Shades of Brown Photography. http://darkershadesofbrown.com/  AMAZING!  He has a different style, which you may or may not like.  Def. pricey for the area - but pics were my most important thing, so I didn't mind spending the extra.  He books way in advance, so securing a date may be hard.  He, his assistant and his wife were all amazing.  They even had dinner with my parents and us after our engagement shoot.  HIGHLY recommended!

Flowers were booked through House of Flowers in Forest City. http://michaelshouseofflowers.com/ Flowers were amazing, and they were super easy and fun to work with.  They do delivery to the CS area as all.

Hope this helps!  I am local to the area and know it well - if you have any other questions; just let me know! My email is taraduhnak@aol.com.  Have a great time planning!!
