Tent Wedding in Banff/Canmore

I would love to get married outside and have the reception in a tent, but I can't seem to find out where I can put up a tent in Banff or Canmore...does anyone know some locations??

Not so sure if you can have tents there, but for an outdoor ceremony location, try the tunnel mountain meadow / reservoir behind the Buffalo Mountain Lodge. It's the prettiest place to get married in Banff. Just gorgeous.

The town website it pretty good... that might be a start.

Also if you are getting married outside in Banff National Park you will have to fill out a permit (they wouldn't deny you just so you are aware of special conditions of getting married in the Park).

I don't think that you can just put up a tent in the park. I know that Brewsters does have a tent set up for rent

Canmore is outside the Park so I don't think they have any special regulation on tents and that sort of thing

I tried to get a canopy for our quartet at one point Lake Louise but was told not in the Park but Canmore was fine. Apparently the private locations you have to touch base with the specific owners.
