If you're getting married in Frederick County, the courts only take cash ($75) for the Marriage License.  I read on the internet they take checks , but apparently not.  you also can't take any cellphones inside that have video recording.  They made me go put it in my car (pretty annoying).  Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Thanks for sharing! I'm partially annoyed that it's the most expensive county around to get married in But I did read on one of the websites that they only took cash.

frederick is the most expensive county in md?? wtf $75??? im getting married in va and i blieve its only $35 for them thank goodness
