Hi I am coming to you from the Boston board. I am going to be in a wedding on Balboa Island/Newport beach ( events are on both) Should I bring a sweater or a jacket, I am not sure what the weather is like in October.  Thank so much!

    Hi. I just did the opposite trip as you (OC to Boston for a wedding) last weekend. I think October is a really strange weather month because it varies so much. Balboa is always a little more chilly because it is right on the water. If the wedding is indoors, bring a sweater. If it is outdoors and in the evening, bring a light jacket.

    Yes--Cali is always cold in the evening.
