A couple of my girlfriends will be flying out for the wedding from the East Coast and need to book a hotel room. My dilema is whether to block hotel rooms near the church/reception area (Pomona) or near the beach house afterparty (Newport Beach/Irvine). My friends will be renting cars and I am trying to figure out a good location so that people won't have to spend so much time driving. Would it be better to book the hotel in the Irvine area (more tourist friendly things to do, but ~30-45min away from church/reception; closer to beach house) or in Pomona (nothing to do there, but close to the church). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
