beach rehearsal dinner

Does anyone know of a beach that we could rent for our rehearsal dinner. We thought it might be cool to have a laidback, catered beach dinner. Not sure if we would have to actually rent a beach or if we could just pick a good beach to go to? We haven't been in Orange County  very long so not sure if this could be an option? Any thoughts?

    How may people?  You can just go and grab picnic tables at some of the beaches.  San Clemente has them, Doheny Beach.  But its one of those things that you need to arrive there early to "reserve" the picnic tables so no one else takes them.

    The Beachcomber Cafe in Crystal Cove is right on the beach and they do events...even if it's not what you're looking for in a RD spot, go check it out for brunch. Very yummy!
