We have our venue, and we snagged it early because we are doing a "Saturday wedding in June". Now I am starting to second guess it. It seems affordable BUT we are locked in with their catering and they refuse to let us do a tasting or a price quote until after the first of the year. This puts our budget completely on hold. We are able to get a refund on our deposit, up to 90 days before the wedding, but I'm sure it will be incredibly tricky to find a venue, open on our date (we are locked in on that), at this point.
Does anyone have any experience with nice places, good caterers, and reasonably priced? We can afford approx $4500 for the venue & food for about 200 people. Dinner must be included. *sigh*
