Does anyone know where you could buy wood slabs/slices locally??

  • There's a firewood place of the 67 in Lakeside that might either carry them or be able to get them. You can see it from the freeway, they sell christmas trees during the winter and firewood year round.

    Michaels Crafts has large oval bass wood slices. I think they run about $8-$15 ea.  Usually on the unfinished wood isle, on a shelf closest to the floor.
