My fiance and I are on a super tight budget and I was wondering if anyone knows any places in southern California to have a ceremony and reception for no more than $1500. thanks everyone!!

Welcome to TK! Is$1,500 your total budget for the ceremony and reception (including food)? Or are you just looking for places with site fees under $1,500? Either way I suggest you check out City of San Diego Parks & Rec and County of San Diego Parks & Rec. They have some really pretty outdoor spaces and low site fees. You can bring in your own caterer to help control your budget also. Happy planning!

If I remember correctly County Parks & Rec does have some indoor facilities like community centers. saritak has a good idea too - check out the surrounding cities. Some of the beach cities (Carlsbad, Encinitas, etc.) probably have facilities that would fit your needs and budget.

I think the Bali Hai on Shelter Island does not charge a Venue fee if you are having the ceremony and reception there.
