San Diego Brides,
Where are you getting your wedding flowers from, I'm looking for somewhere affordable and helpful. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

Re: Where are you getting your flowers?

  • I haven't started researching florists yet... but I am seriously considering doing my flowers myself. We're on a tight budget and flowers are not on the list of top priorities. I plan on purchasing from Costco or the local grocery store and assembling some simple centerpieces, bouquets, and bouttonnieres with whatever is brightly colored and in season.

  • I got mine from Wholesale Flowers:

I did a bulk order of calla lilies for my DIY centerpieces and BM bouquets, and some loose roses and rose petals for our cake and cupcakes. I had them put together the bouts and my bouquet. I was very pleased with their work and their prices.

  • Sweet Pea Flower Company-
Michelle has been wonderful to work with and I think my wedding will be lovely. She is amazingly reasonable and works with you to understand how to fit the budget.

Her website is: http://www.sweetpeaflowercompany.com/ and her most updated pictures are on her facebook site
  • Ooh! Great suggestions. I'm definitely going to check out both.
