DJ under $1000

Does anyone have a DJ in San Diego that they would recommend? I'm looking to spend under $1000 (hopefully closer to $800) for 6 hours of reception & ceremony. I don't want anyone too cheesy, but someone who will be a good MC and will keep everything organized. Any recommendations (or DJs to avoid) would be appreciated!

I have been recommended to Bill Calhoun or Paul Peterson.  They are about $600 for 6 hours.

We are going with DJ guys and they will probably be a little more but you can negotiate them to right around 1,000 depending on the package.

We just booked Paul Peterson for $600 for the reception. If we also use him for the ceremony, it will be $730.  He is booked every weekend of the year, so he is good.
