Good Locations for Engagements?

We are doing some DIY engagement photos.

I'm wondering where some of you girls have had them done or if you know of any good locations?  Outdoor and indoor alike.

This is a big state.  Is there a certain city/county you want to stay close to?

We'll we're open for going on a road trip. :)
But we do live around the northern Utah, Davis County area.

I had mine done at Wheeler Farm, which is a pretty popular location.

Exchange Place in downtown SLC is also extremely popular these days--I see people there all the time.

Antelope Island has those pretty rolling hills.

    The Great Salt Lake

The burnt-out railcar by Saltair is also extremely popular.

The International Peace Gardens and Memory Grove in SLC

The wetlands out in Farmington Bay

The canyons will be exploding into color in about two or three weeks, so that might be a good option for you.  Cascade Springs on the Alpine Loop is lovely.

Hopefully that will give you a few ideas to start with.

If you had a look in mind (brick wall, mountains, water scene) you could also share that with your photographer and they should also know locations.  Good luck!

In the Ogden area there is a small private parkway/walking area behind the Best Western High Country Inn on 12th street with a bridge, pond and waterfall display. There is also the old Canning Buildings near Farrs Ice cream that has wonderful brick walls.
