Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui?

highly recommend!!! my husband and i stayed at the royal lahaina during our honeymoon a little over 2 years ago at that time, the resort's main tower had just been renovated- our room was in the main tower...it was really nice. i think you get a lot of bang for your buck at the royal lahaina because you get the great location and amenities that other resorts have without the astronomical cost. the resort is perched directly on kaanapali (sp?) beach and is close to whalers village (a cute outdoor shopping center). it's also not too far from front street ("downtown" area with lots of shops, boutiques and restaurants). we are planning on going back for our fifth anniversary! have a great honeymoon

We stayed there as well- we loved it --- people have said the tower is better -we had an ocean front room that was perfect.
