Where to stay in Punta Cana???

Hello,
 We are honeymooning from July 15-22/23 and have been looking at Punta Cana. Our budget is $3000 AL with airfare from Boston. Any suggestions?? Thank you!!

    I've stayed at the Excellence Resort in Punta Cana....it was UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

    My fiance's sister got married there and it was nothing short of elegant and fabulous. It is an all inclusive resort and there's so much to do there! We loved it so much that we are actually staying at another Excellence Resort for our honeymoon! :)


    HIGHLY recommended!!!!

    My husband and I went to The Hard Rock in Punta Cana and I would not suggest it. For the price we paid, I was extremely disappointed, in fact, I was in tears half way through the trip. The resort was beautiful but the staff was extremely rude and the food and drinks were horrible. The resort was pretty far away from the other resorts and town. The island is beautiful and we had a blast on our excursion but I would stay away from the Hard Rock.
