HI! My FI and I have a budget of about $2,000 for our honeymoon. We live on the Oregon coast and are willing to travel. We originally wanted to go on a cruise, but we are running into the problem of all cruises in the Caribbean require people to be on the boat before we can get there by plane (even if we took the first flight out). There is a Mexico cruise we could make because it departs from the LA area, but we have been to Mexico before and were hoping to try something new. We are not outdoorsy people so camping is out. We would really like somewhere we can lay by the pool, relax, read, and be pampered a little bit. Most of our wedding is DIY and we are looking for somewhere we can relax for a week. We are considering Vegas because it will be warm, we can do as much or as little as we want, and we can get a suite for a reasonable price. Has anyone done Vegas for a honeymoon or have any other ideas for something in our budget? Thanks!
