Need ideas for making VIP escort cards please...

I am trying to do most things DIY. I want to make VIP escort cards but I don't have a template and do not know how to make one. I've found some that are available for purchase, but Im not able to put different names on them. They are very standard. I know where to get the lanyards and clear case, but clueless on the card itself... Any ideas?

What is a VIP escort card, and why do you need lanyards and clear cases? Sorry, I'm just really confused as to what you're trying to make.

</div><div>Don't be sorry. Instead of using basic escort cards for seating with my guests name and table number, I would like to make them to look like VIP cards bc it will go with my theme. It will have their name and their table name (e.g. Jane Doe, Table *insert fav musician name here*)

Ahhhh I see, sort of like 'backstage passes'. When I first read your post I was thinking: 'please don't let this be a bride wanting to make special escort cards just for her VIP guests'.

Do you have access to photoshop? If not these would be simple enough to make in word. I would just find an example of one you like, and do your best to copy the formatting into a word doc. I would use lots of text boxes so you can have different colored fonts and be able to easily move the text around.

Haha, I was thinking the same exact thing about considering some gusts VIP!  Then I was thinking you meant VP for Vistaprint.  I found a STD I liked onlike and recreated it with powerpoint (thought that was much easier to work with the word).  You can also download fonts for free if you want different ones.

Word doesn't usually do layout very well, and the print quality is kind of the equivalent of drawing with crayons.

There's a number of Etsy vendors who can do this type of work very affordably.  I'll send you a PM with some info for one I recommend.

I did my original template for my STDs in excel, I wanted to print 4 on a page and it was easier to line up the text than using word. I did print a sample and didn't find any issues with the print quality, I set it to high in the print properties. I ended up using Photoshop at the end because I was able to get my hands on a copy.
