Spa for Mom

Hello CT Brides!
I am a RI bride but originally from CT and my parents still live there. I'd like to get my mom a "spa" day with me as a wedding gift, but since I haven't been looking into services for my wedding in your area, I was hoping you could give me some suggestions of some great places. She leaves about 25 mins east of Hartford-  but has no problem traveling to Norwich, Avon, etc. where good places might be close enough for her to drive. any suggestions - maybe some places you have looked into for your big day? thanks in advance!!

    I had a good experience at A Moment Away Spa in Southington.  Also, I've heard good things about Norwich Inn and Spa (this might be more what you're looking for in terms of a full day spa).  I love the spa at Mohegan (have never been to Foxwoods' spa) but I'm not sure how they compare in terms of prices.

    Norwich Inn & Spa is more of a full day Spa experience- also a hotel, relaxation rooms, much more immersive.

    Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa is in the Mystic Marriott- also a great spa, love the services but slightly more expensive.

    There are also spas at the casino- though I'm not 100% sure the quality of the spa there?

    Not sure if this is too far but Spa of Essex is gorgeous. I also like Waters Edge.
