we got our awesome new furniture, but i was also sick the entire weekend. and im still sick. yuck.

Rants: I'm pretty sure I've got some poison ivy on my arm which caused me to wake up a zillion times last night to put on spray so that I wouldn't scratch.

Rave: FI comes home from a long boys weekend today. Me and the dog missed him terribly!

Rave- My FI and I went away for a few days to Rockport MA to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. When we checked into our beautiful ocean view room at the Emerson Inn at the Sea (TOTALLY RECCOMEND THIS PLACE!) there were rose petals from the door to the bed and a bouquet of flowers on the desk. The flowers were the flowers we want in our wedding centerpieces. I was shocked and then it got even better when right after we got there he had arranged for a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to be brought up to our room. All in all i think we fell in love all over again and it was an amazing time!!

Rant- I wish we were back there.. I miss spending all day with him.. We work at the same place and live together but are on opposite shifts and don't have the same days off most of the time. Can't wait till Oct 3-5 because we are spending those days together camping with his brother.

Isn't Rockport amazing?!?!  I grew up on Cape Ann and almost got married in the Rockport/Gloucester area.  It's such a gorgeous area.  Glad you guys had a beautiful weekend up there.

Weekend was great.  Girls Night Out in West Hartford Center was a blast.  Ate too much at the Durham Fair, but overall great relaxing weekend at home.

RANT: The construction on the Putnam bridge needs to end.  I'm over being late to work because I can never time it right.

Rant- I was too hungover yesterday to doing my training run of 12 miles... so I have to do it today- FML! (

Rave 1: Toby Keith and Trace Adkins concert on Friday was awesome!!!
Rave 2: We got a new table for our entry way- finally starting to decorate this house!!
Rave 3: I got 2 job offers last Thursday and have one more interview this Thursday. I think I know which one I want to take...but we shall see.

Rant 1: I was supposed to go on multiple shopping errands today, but it's wet and cold and I don't want to go out!!
Rant 2: DH has been sick for a week and is starting to make me miserable right along with him!

megbrooks- Yes Rockport was amazing! I work at place right on the water but this was NOTHING compared to that. It was elegant and beautiful

Weekend was good I was getting into the fall season. We went to the farm and got a pumpkin and mum plant and put them on our front porch with our scare crow and put my wreath up. It was fun.
Our photographer came over who is an acquaintance of FI. We discussed all of the photos we want and all day of times. It went well and he doesn't want to charge us I couldn't believe it! Of course we will still pay him though.

Oh and I won tickets to see Chelsey Handler New Years eve at Mohegan Sun! Yay!

Weekend was good but JAM packed!!

Went to a wedding last night & just love looking at all the details! 

Met up with some friends that I have  not seen in awhile--which is alwasy nice!

Rave: ORDERING THE DRESS ON SATURDAY!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! & moving into the NEW house Wednesday!!! WOOOOOOOT!!! Big week!!

Rant: I feel like I have no time to breath--I have way too many things packed into such a short time! Uggh

Had a good weekend..

stayed in Friday and relaxed while DH went out to celebrate his friends Birthday

Saturday - went to my hair appointment. Love the results then went to the Big E and ate pretty much everything fried in sight

Sunday - pretty sure I had a fried food hangover...just did cleaning and grocery shopping.

Weekend was great until I hurt my back at the gym yesterday . Finally got the chocolates for the favors. Anyone looking for Caramel Chocolate Gems today at the Godiva in Trumbull Mall don't bother bc I bought them all..hehehe. Also bought the ring bearer pillow and found the material to make my own garter. Yesterday FI's stepmom and I finished the seat chart!! Woohoo!!

Started my new job today and am getting accustomed to living in FL. I was super emotional at first about leaving my friends and family. But I can't get over how beautiful everything is here and the amazing weather. I loved coming home today to swim laps in the pool while my friends were complaining that it was cold and rainy back home. 

Weekend was good.. mostly unpacking and settling in. DH got his hands on Halo Reach so he's been playing that A LOT. lol

Weekend was pretty low key....caught the cold that I think everyone else has lol....pretty much unpacked and relaxed all weekend, which was nice for once!
