Outdoor Lake Wedding

We wanted to do a private lake but you have to be a resident. Regency Lodge dosent do an outdoor wedding, it will be inside but you can still see the lake. Do you have any advice for me?? I was thinking of doing it on a golf course that looks over a lake, but I dont know of any, and were not a member of any clubs.

I don't think this is exactly what you are looking for, but I'm getting married at the Columns at Pioneers Park and that overlooks a small lake/pond. So you get the trees, and the water, and grass, and the huge cool columns all in one spot. And it's only $100 for 3 hours and they'll split that time between your rehearsal and ceremony.

Check into Tiburon.  Even though they have a lake, it's on the course, but you can at least get some photos by the lake.   My opinion....lake = mesquitos

There is also Oak lake or Holmes lake. It's through the lincoln park and recreation so it's still the $100 for three hours but puts you right next to the water.
