Ceremony officiant

I am looking for someone to marry us!  We are getting married outside and it is a nonreligous ceremony.  I don't know where to look to find someone.  I don't know of anyone and some of the companies that do officate are way to expensive for my budget.  Please help!
Thanks!

Ask local judges or clerk magistrate.

Not sure what your budget is, but take a look at Signature Ceremonies. They were inexpensive, will give you a ceremony that you help coordinate as far as readings (if you want them), unity candle or something else, etc. Andrea  is who I talked to and she was incredible!

Here is the website: http://www.signatureceremonies.net/Welcome.html or you can check them out on Facebook.

If you want more specifics you can email me at wishonastar01 at gmaildotcom

My fiance and I are also have a non-church ceremony but instead of having a stranger marry us, we are using two of our best friends. We felt this would give it a more personal unique touch. We got the idea from a friend that had her older brother marry her. Just about anyone can be ordained to officiate wedding ceremonies online. It is legal in Nebraska, if you're not getting married here I would double check with their state laws.

Here is the website we used - http://www.roseministries.com/

I'm in the same boat as you, and went with Susie Joyce at Beyond Illusion Wedding Officiants. She and her husband Tom specialize in non-denominational and non religious weddings. They have been really great to work with so far. My wedding is in July and I can't wait for Susie to help us get married!

We used a local Judge, Susan M. Bazis. We had an outdoor wedding at the Regency Lake and Tennis club. She arrived earlier, we had a consult with her a few days before the wedding and told her what we wanted added to the ceremony. Our wedding was not religious either. She did a great job and judges are very inexpensive.

I should add that we're paying $125 for Susie Joyce to officiate. If you want them to do a rehearsal (they don't make you do one) it's another $50. But I've been super happy with all the time and effort she has put into my wedding. I started talking to her before Christmas, and I would definitely consider her a friend now. She's also doing Tarot Readings for my bachelorette party!
