Hi My Fiance is a Tunisian Muslim and I am not. We are starting to plan our wedding with the hope that he will be here next year(applying for Fiance Visa in August 2011). We plan on having a simple non religious cermony here in the US and then some type of reception. We will be going back to visit his family in Tunisia and at that time(not until later 2012 or even 2013), we will do somethng over there. The one reason to keep it simple is that he will not have any friends or family here(visa again- hard to get to just visit).
I am looking for ideas to incorporate some type of events prior to the wedding day(Henna Night is an example) or even at the reception.
