Chinese Wedding Dress - just for tea ceremony and pics?

Hey guys,

I have NO clue how it works. All I know is, I'd rather wear my white wedding dress for the majority of the evening. I like it way more than the Chinese dress and it definitely cost a lot more LOL.

What's the stat quo say?

I'm wearing my Vietnamese dress only for the tea ceremony, pics, and changing once into it during the reception for a few minutes.  But most of my actual ceremony and reception will be in my white dress.

Viet bride here, I'm also a multi-dress bride.  Here's my plan:

Ao dai for tea ceremony the morning of
    White dress for Mass
Back to ao dai for greeting the tables (in lieu of a procession line)
    White dress for reception

Of course I like my white dress much more but as an ode to my heritage I'm proud to wear my ao dai even if it'll only be for less than an hour total for the entire day.

Aside from the tea ceremony, it is also worn during the reception when you do the walkabout to drink toasts at each banquet table. Make sure you wear all the gift jewellery plus whatever else you may already own/borrow. Guests actually scrutinize the bride's volume of jewellery and want to see their gifts on the bride.
